Home & Land Packages to suit your budget

Peter Ray Homes offer a range of Home & Land Packages to suit a range of budgets throughout Canterbury. We currently have packages available in Halswell and Marshland, while we can also work with you to find your own section for your new home. We can also discuss with you how you can use your KiwiSaver funds towards a new home and about applying for a HomeStart Grant.

Our Approach

We will discuss with you where you are looking to live, your budget, what size section and what size home you are looking for and your finance options with you. We will then present some sections and home options to choose from.

A home & land package put together for you on a section of your choice
Either a 5% deposit or progress payments

Alternatively we can discuss with you our current home & land packages with a turnkey option from only 10% deposit. These are in new subdivisions with the home designed to suit the chosen section. Please see our available packages below.

First Home Loan

With a First Home Loan, you only need a 5% deposit, making it easier to get into your first home. These loans are offered by selected banks and lenders and are underwritten by Kāinga Ora, allowing access to lending that may not meet standard criteria. To be eligible, you must be a first home buyer and meet income thresholds. For more criteria and information, please visit Kāinga Ora.

KiwiSaver

If you have been in KiwiSaver for more than 3 years you may be able to withdraw your savings/contributions leaving a minimum of $1,000.00 in your KiwiSaver account. The first step is to contact your KiwiSaver provider to apply.
