A house and land package combines your section and your new home together in one straightforward process, with a single fixed price that makes it easier to plan your finances and build with confidence. You'll know exactly what to expect from the start, with no hidden costs or surprises along the way.
Because everything is coordinated through one trusted team, the process is simpler and less stressful than arranging a land purchase and a build separately. As a Registered Master Builder, every home we build comes with a 10 year Master Build Guarantee included as standard, giving you complete peace of mind from day one.
Can we make changes to the house plans in an available package?
Yes. While our house and land packages come with pre-planned designs, we understand that every family is different. We're flexible on finishes, fixtures, and certain design details, so you can put your own stamp on your new home without starting from scratch. Our team will talk you through your options from the very first conversation.
What financing options are available to help us into our new home?
There are a couple of useful schemes worth exploring, depending on your situation. If you've been contributing to KiwiSaver for more than three years, you may be able to withdraw a portion of your savings towards your new home. Your KiwiSaver provider will be able to walk you through the process.
If you're a first home buyer, a First Home Loan could also be an option worth considering. Offered through selected banks and lenders, and underwritten by Kāinga Ora, it allows eligible buyers to purchase with as little as a 5% deposit. Income thresholds and eligibility criteria apply, so we'd recommend visiting the Kāinga Ora website for full details.
